When I was much younger, I frequently thought about full time ministry.  I’ve been involved in different ministries through the church over the years, and even traveled to various nations on mission trips.  God has always been faithful and my life has been blessed.  But as the years passed, the idea of pursuing ministry on a full time basis seemed out of reach, and I put those dreams on the shelf.

In March 2016, I was in Brazil ministering with a team from Global Awakening, and I had a significant encounter with the Lord there.  I may not be able to fully explain what it was like, or describe all that God was doing.  But one thing that came out of that encounter was a fresh stirring in my heart for full time ministry.  It was like I literally “came alive” in that encounter.

Returning home, I continued to feel a pull in my spirit towards ministry and prayed continuously about it.  A couple of different occasions brought confirmation that this was the right direction, so I asked the Lord about a name for this new venture.  The answer came quickly and clearly, “Come Alive Ministries”.  Since I felt like I had truly come alive in His presence, this became a motive for what the direction would be.

We want to pursue the Kingdom of God and provide opportunity for people to encounter Him.  Our desire is that believers embrace their real identity, knowing how God sees them; and as a result, step into the destiny for which they were created.

We do this by connecting with ministries around the globe and supporting them through teaching, preaching, healing, and helping those in need however we can.
